We’re looking forward to having you all up to Fallen Leaf!  While South Lake Tahoe is a large tourist destination, Fallen Leaf is not, so housing is fairly limited.  We have set up accommodations at a local hotel for those who are interested in staying in South Tahoe.  However for those interested in a truly unique and unforgettable experience, there are numerous houses around the lake (all near the ceremony) available for rent.  There are also a few listed below that are a bit further away from the lake but still relatively close (5 min drive to the reception).

As for transportation to the ceremony and reception, we will be picking people up at The Camp Richardson Hotel at 2:30.  All options below are no more than a 30 min cab ride to the hotel.  If you choose to stay at Fallen Leaf, the ceremony and reception are within walking distance of most accommodations (with the exception of the campground).  We will be providing transportation to the reception from the ceremony.

Camp Richardson Hotel

About: Located on highway 89 The Camp Richardson Hotel is a quick 10 minute drive from the reception and 20 minute drive from the ceremony.  It is conveniently located at the entrance to the Camp Richardson Resort and is a great spot to stay if you plan on exploring Tahoe.    It’s a small hotel and space is limited so please book early.  The hotel will be the primary pick up spot for transportation to and from the reception and ceremony for those NOT staying at a house on the lake.

Houses for Rent

About: Fallen Leaf Lake is a bit off the beaten path however it does have a small community of people who operate home rentals at the end of the lake.  There you’ll find a volleyball court, community pier, store, boat rentals, trail heads, diving rocks and more to keep you entertained.  If you choose to pursue this option you’ll be staying at the lake and within walking distance to the ceremony and “almost” walking distance to the reception.
